Surf's Up is a surf camp, surf school and hotel 20 meters from the ocean in the heart of Weligama Bay — a place where surfing, food and music come together on the shore of the Indian Ocean.

Our mission is to create experiences. At Surf's Up nobody chains your free spirit to a minute-by-minute schedule: surf from sunrise to sunset, explore the island, or do both — every guest gets a personal programme. Returning guests come back year after year, like coming home to a place where the ocean is waiting along with friends you've missed.

Every student gets a personal account: lesson schedule, session photos and videos, lesson package balance, chat with the school, live wave forecast for Weligama Bay and a surf guide.
The school is open to everyone. Book a lesson or a stay through the enquiry form on this page or at our reception in Weligama — we open your personal account, and you sign in to the app with a one-time code from our Telegram bot.
